Really trying to figure our how to fit it all in!
I was thinking of the whole schedule thing the other day as I was getting things ready for Nikolas bday party at the dam. I had a list of things that we needed. I had everything PLANNED! Well maybe that is what I am missing with my day to day living stuff.
I make a list of things I will be making to take to all my craft shows, I make a list when I go to the grocery store.
I also have a calender with all my scheduled craft shows....
I have tried the schedule thing, well gave it a day or two. But with the big kids back in school. I am thinking we are needing a schedule, Especially as my 2 year old lays here in bed next to me wide awake! Really it's after 10!

What I have been doing!

I know I haven't written in awhile, I am gearing up for the fall boutiques I am doing! And I have been having so much fun!

Not getting the habit.

I am truly sorry, I feel like I have let you down. :(.
I let life get in the way.
Well, things are only going to get busier.
My yard sale went OK. We finally got our checks, unfortunately my hubby was behind on some bills that I did not know about, to say the least it is putting a strain on us right now. Hopefully we can get thru this.
I tell you what organization has kinda gone to the way side, Know I am concentrating on getting my products made for the fall shows and figuring out a budget. Seriously how does one make a budget when you never know when you are going to get paid or how much. I will get it I am sure.
I am sorry, this is only a tiny slip up. But life is full of them. I will learn from this.
My only advice is don't spend a promised check until you have it in your hand.

Waiting for a check

One of the hardest things about being self employed is waiting on getting paid. And sometimes it takes FOREVER when you are in construction which my husband is! It has been almost 6 weeks since we have gotten our last check. WOZA. And my money can only help so much. It is like getting excited for your special surprise every time the mail man comes, and just hoping, or in this case expecting the check to come! Then the big lump in your throat and trying not to cry because it just isn't there. This week has been especially tuff, as we have been promised since the 18th of July, oh the check will be this week, then again on the 25th, then again on the 1st. This week we have been expecting 2 other checks besides the other one promised 3 weeks ago. URGH. Rem has to drive my Van to work as their is no gas in his work truck. Interesting sight to see I promise!
This being said, Check out my in the next little bit for the sale I will be having, as I really need some cash. Things must be picked up by Saturday at the latest. Saturday morning I will be at the Farmers Market in Ogden, this sale will follow me there!

Mamma said their would be days like this!

I did get a lot done today, with a lot of interruptions. Or should I say Life stuff. Seriously I need to learn how to do things half way! But unfortunately I have a personality disorder, yes I said it! Can you believe Perfectionism is considered a personality disorder! I know I think it is totally silly. So I try and deal with is, as their is not any medication I can take to cure it!
I have a basic daily chore list for myself just to keep basic order, and I am going to add small ones as I get all of these basic organizational ones done:
1. Clean out the sink, first thing in the morning and last thing at night, I know sounds weird, but It really does help make your kitchen look cleaner. Which really sucks for me, my dishwasher is broke. But I had to make a choice a new dishwasher or a new washing machine. I figured dishes are a lot easier to wash by hand than clothes.
2. One load of laundry everyday, but you should do what works for you. What I noticed today is that I fold my laundry in the living room, and I really want to try and keep some areas "clean looking". So I want to figure out a way to fold my laundry in the laundry room, which will pose a problem but we will come back to this. It is on my trouble spot list.
3. When the mail comes I go thru it and put it where it belongs. HAHAHA another trouble spot that goes on my list.
4. All beds made. I know some people believe that it is a wast of time, but if you are like me having a clean house makes you feel better. And a pretty looking made bed just makes a room look "clean".
5. Clean off dining table, Kitchen counters and bar counter cleaned off. Another couple of my trouble spots. I will come back to this.
6. Bathroom: clean off counter and wipe down toilet, I love the Clorox wipes, yes I keep them in both bathrooms. Now I only do this in the main bathroom. And it seriously amazes me that the one bathroom that is rarely used always seems the dirtiest. HMMM.

On do what I did today:

So I have to say that I did more deep clean than I did actual "organizing". But When trying to organize you have to remember the key is "clutter". You have to be willing to get rid of those things that are just cluttering your space. This area I have already done. I got rid of everything that did not have a purpose, I cleaned out my hutch, got rid of things that were just sitting there. Don't worry I have lots of clutter spaces! These are the things that are going on my "Trouble spot list"
Now on to the finished product!
Looks good, haha, It had a huge layer of dust, yes the broom only moved spots, I will tell you my secret about brooms and swiffers later. :)

Ahhh, nice and clean, yes I left the wall art. The babies would have cried for days if I took it down.

Laundry baskets gone! The couches were filthy! I scrubbed them down, and vacuumed out the cushions! Oh do you like the fan, yes the air conditioner broke! Seriously!

Yes I am still using the railings to hang my comforters up to dry, and the door on that hutch needs to be rehung. but hey it looks great!

Laundry is all done, well except a half a load, but I just can't do a half a load. :P. All full time peeps have clean sheets on their bed! I love sleeping in brand new clean sheets!
Sad thing is that I did not get in my 8 hours of work. :// . I will have to make those hours up!

Tomorrow is cleaning out the hanging closets! Fun stuff! I am needing money I am sure for a new air conditioner so I will be having a huge yard sale/boutique in 30 days or so! :)

I know I haven't written in forever!
I am still struggling with a schedule, and as most people in America, struggling just to make ends meet. I don't know why I thought it was just us. But the more people I talk to the more I realize A LOT of us are.
So I thought I would share with you our struggles, our day to day, oh My's! :)
But everyday I am going to make goals, and I am hoping by putting it out there you will hold me accountable.
Have you ever heard of the Organizing wizard? Well she put out this little ebook... and you are suppose to get you house organized in 30 days, I have been trying to do this, but as she has said, if you don't hold yourself accountable to someone, life gets in the way! And it has and does.
So tomorrow I am starting on day 1, which will, hopefully be a breeze, as I have already done it. I tried months ago.
I am going to get laundry done. Also work at least 8 hours, as in work I hopefully will get paid for once I sell the products.
Wish me luck! I will be doing this for the next 30 days!
